After 17 years, Kelli and Dan are calling it quits. The Pharmacy is closing. The 19th century building has been purchased, and will be renovated by the new owner. His plans for the space are not yet public knowledge. Rumor is that he will hold on to the building as an investment, and, once repairs to the roof, etc. are complete, that he will offer it for lease.

The turn-of-the-century pharmacy is gone, but in its place is a delightful little dining spot. A talented kitchen and attentive servers guarantees a great meal at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for in Southport??

I have been to the Pharmacy for lunch and dinner. Excellent food and service. Food is fresh and beautifully presented. The servers are very helpful and pleasant. What I especially like is the calmness of the restaurant. You don't have to scream or say what did you say to your partner while eating. It is relaxing and you are not rushed out the door. We have been there as a couple and a party of eight. The service and food are always consistent. My husband and I like to sit in the corner. See if you can reserve those chairs.

This would be a great place for one on one dining. Dim lighting and very intimate feel. Not a family friendly place at all. Very small menus. Slow staff.

We came here for drinks and appetizers on a Friday night. I had expertly prepared Old Fashions and the pork cheeks for an appetizer. We also got a cup of their soup (very good) and a crab cake. I would like to return here ASAP and test out their dinner menu which I anticipate would be delicious. The Pharmacy itself is an original building that was as one would expect, a Pharmacy. Ask your server for details as the Old Fashions served to limit my recall of these.
