At 3.30pm on a Sunday and the small pub restaurant is still full. However, I visited this place alone so was able to get a counter seat immediately.
I had a light meal just 2 hours earlier so I didn't want a super huge burger. However, the service staff told me all burgers are the same size. I ordered Shwiss burger with onion rings.
Very long wait - 30 minutes for my order to arrive!
The food presentation was impressive - the onion rings were coated just like KFC's crispy chicken and the burger was oozing with cheese.
Move past the first impression, however, the onion rings didn't taste good. The batter was somewhat hard and one can't really taste the batter at all. After a few rings, I decided to finish the burger first lest I become too full to eat the burger. Later, I realized that the onion rings had more taste when it is cold. The batter had some savoury taste and was somewhat spicy - almost like there was curry powder added. Still the onion rings can make one quite full.
The burger, on the other hand, was really worth having! The patty was juicy, not hard and the buns were soft throughout. Only point against it was the mushrooms weren't a lot. In fact, only the second half of my burger had mushrooms.
A test of a good burger is that one should not get tired of finishing the entire burger. This one passed the test! Then again, to be frank, I think the burger is not very big. Still, it was good.
Overall, I enjoyed my burger and I will avoid the onion rings in the future.
As for service staff, they were polite and mechanically friendly.
The long wait may hamper me from visiting this place again though.
