To start with...I was really apprehensive before my first holidays ever in Bulgaria. Mainly because of deeply-rooted stereotypes. In most cases,I opt for 5*hotels but this time I gave 4*star hotel a try.
Astoria Mare is a great option for both a family and for young people. It's very close to the beach and it's located close to the centre full of bars, shops etc.
The room is really spacious with a big wardrobe to put your things there. Very comfortable beds, a very nice and big bathroom. You can find towels, a hairdryer ,a shower gel and shampoo there.
Food in the main restaurant for everyone ,even for vegetarians. e.g. soya milk, almond, rice milk, smoothies out of fresh fruit etc.
Meat, croissants, waffles, porridge, sea food, cakes, soups,.ice -cream and much more. Apart from that Asian and Italian restaurant available, just need to book first, free of charge in all inclusive option.
Water 24/h, lots of fruit, cakes and ice cream by the pool from 15.00-17, snacks and more.
Drawbacks:
Not enough sunbeds on the beach ,especially around 10-11.30 a.m.
If a room is in an adjoining building, you need to use 2lifts to get to the main building.
Shallow room cleaning
Smoking allowed nearly everywhere :((
