This was great. We came in here late one night, and although the owner had actually closed his restaurant already, he opened up again just for us. We had the mixed grill and it was awesome. A genuine Bulgarian respite amidst an ocean of "golden sand" tourist traps. Loved it.

We booked rooms at this hotel and we didnt even stay there, beacuse, although our booking was confirmed(via internet, reservation by credit card) and we phoned them before getting there, the owners gave our rooms to smbd else. It was 11 pm (check-in was possible till midnight) when we were offered rooms in a family house just across the street(at some neighbours of them). That house looked awfully so we didn't accept their "kind" offer...
Another bad issue is that it is veeery far from centre of Golden Sands, you have to go up on a hill, through a forest...When we got to Golden Sands nobody knew about hotel....We finally contacted the owner, he came and took us and only after driving a few km and going there in the middle of nowwhere, he admitted that he had no rooms....We left and found a far better hotel...Detelina, where the recepteionist very very very nice and helpful:)
