Great place to stay anytime. The kids love the waterpark, and I love the gigantic hot tub. The rooms are spacious and come with a fridge and microwave. We always upgrade to the suite just to have the extra seating with the couch.

The breakfast is always hot and tasty. You can never go wrong with their eggs and sausage. And their coffee is great.

The front desk staff has always been friendly and accommodating.
So many reviews call this place dated, I see the constant updates being done overtime we come.

Take advantage of the shuttle service they offer, we like to take the shuttle to go for supper so i can have that extra glass of wine and not worry about driving.

Comfortable bed, clean room. This would be a 4 but the HVAC system is not digital so you have to guess at temperature. The room was very hot upon arrival so I ended up blasting a/c most of the night to get a comfortable temperature. The van ride was safe and expeditious and the hotel was pretty quiet. Plug in spaces for devices was more than adequate.

This hotel pretty much has all the bases covered and we really enjoy staying here. The kids have a great indoor water park with at least three separate areas and good-sized waterslides along with an overhead fountain and buckets -- all allow for a varied and very happy time. There is a separate game room with LOTS of games offering a wonderful variety for the young ones as well as us not-so-young ones! There is a cozy lounge on the premises that is designed to be almost hidden from view. The interior has an interesting design and is great for small groups. The breakfast room is huge (seating for over 100) and offers pretty much anything one would have for breakfast -- thought the automatic pancake maker was a nice touch and far simpler to operate than the usual "flip" type waffle machine (I think they also have those as well). The people in charge are fastidious In keeping the whole area clean and all items in good supply. For example, we had no sooner taken two yogurt cups out of the cooler than two replacements were put right back in! The only problem we encountered was on one stay we were given a room directly above the breakfast area and the fans which came on very early in the morning were loud enough to wake you from a deep sleep. When we contacted the front desk they offered us another room but expressed disappointment that the fans had not yet been repaired (they had requested the repair prior to our arrival so thought that room would be fine). The rooms are clean and quite spacious and have all the usual amenities available to you. We liked the firmness of the mattress and the screen size of the television. The bathroom seemed a bit small yet the granite sink area was quite large. If both beds were to be used, because of a divider in the room separating the sleeping area from the lounge and bathroom area, getting into bed would be a bit problematic as the beds do come close to the wall so some gymnastic talent would be required to get into bed! We compliment this business for fully supporting local initiatives to encourage tourism (they offer to the Minot tourist groups coupons for free accommodation). We also like to stay here when the World Of Outlaw car races are in Minot as this is where many of the teams also choose to stay (the huge parking lot has plenty of room for their semi-trailers and space to work on their cars). As race fans, we do like to associate with the team members and they are willing to give you a few minutes of their precious time which we greatly appreciate. The hotel is almost centrally located in the huge mall so if shopping is on your agenda, you are in one of the nicest malls in North Dakota with a wide variety of stores and a decent Food Court as well. You are also within a short drive of many splendid restaurants and bars and lots of other major stores, a strip mall. We truly enjoy our trips to Minot and to be able to stay in such fine, centrally-located accommodations as this just adds to the pleasure. Thanks to all for your splendid efforts -- they have not gone unnoticed!

Room Tip: Although the fan problem in the kitchen has been fixed, we still ask not to have the room above the kitchen.

We recently stayed at the Minot Sleep Inn which is attached to the mall. That makes it a perfect winter cross border shopping location. It has been a family favourite for many years but the premises are beginning to need an upgrade. Our first room had a very loud heater and so they upgraded our room for the second night. There are 3 water slides there but only one was working for our visit. The staff there is excellent but whoever is in charge of making decisions about keeping the facility updated needs to survey the premises!

While we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and friendly staff, the balance of our stay and the guests were less impressive.
Children left to run in the hallways unattended, adults who do not respect other guests and thump down the hallway being extremely loud.
We respect that there are families who are staying here, however you would expect they would have their children better behaved being in public.
Our one room had to call down to the desk 2 times and were told on the second call "it is black Friday". This is not acceptable client service. To try to excuse excessive disruptive behavior from other guests because of shopping? That is essentially telling the concerned guest they should just accept the matter at hand. Perhaps some additional client empathy training would benefit that individual.
We had also encountered a couple of other guests in the hall who were going to call to the desk, this is a valid indicator we were not alone in our dissatisfaction.
Overall, our stay was expressly disappointing. One of our group suffered with health issue compounded by the excessively loud noise and that is absolutely unacceptable.
I will be sure to provide my feedback as well to CF Appreciation who is the Canadian Forces portal for service members and their families who have Choice Hotels on their white list.

On behalf of our hotel, I deeply apologize for the noise disruption and inexcusable response from the Front Desk Staff when notified of the disturbance. Black Friday or not, there is no reason that the guests that stay with us shouldn't have a nice and enjoyable experience during their visit.

I have had one on one conversations with each staff member to ensure that all guests are in their rooms and noise levels are kept to a minimum to avoid upsetting and disrupting our other guests.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the way you were treated by both the staff and guests, and I hope you will give us another chance to provide you with the superior service and accommodations you rightfully expect and deserve.

Take great care,
