This is a luxurious lodge tucked up on the edge of the Sechelt Penninsula...at the end of the Sunshine Highway. Pricey but worth it -- staff was lovely - hotel suite had a spectacular view. From here we took a sea plane to Princess Louisa Inlet and a zodiak boat back. Spectacular fjords. A fabulous spot to celebrate my birthday.
Food was gourmet -- we did a package which included meals, might skip that next time and just eat a hamburger down at Back Eddy one day. Book early, not many places to stay and fills up!

Room Tip: suites are expensive but only way to go to get the best experience.

You must get a room with a view of the water, otherwise you could be in any old forest. The views are beautiful, with an ever changing sky and light.

The food is great and service relaxed and friendly. Definitively one for another stay in future.

Visited WCWL at the end of the season just before they were closing. It was perfect! Beautiful fall weather. The staff was really nice and helpful. We brought bikes and a kayak and enjoyed using both. Nice to be so close to Skookumchuk Narrows too. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a spectacular view. Just love this place at the end of the road!!

Stayed in a forrest view room which was in a block of four each with a small balcony completely surrounded by trees so it was a bit gloomy, but adequately comfortable and clean. The main building and restaurant was on the cliff edge with spectacular views over the water.

We recently stayed at WCWL for our honeymoon. We booked a package deal that included an ocean view suite, breakfasts and dinners, and a boat tour of Princess Louisa Inlet. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the main draw to this resort. The room was beautiful and well-equipped with a spectacular patio space, spacious living area and look-through washroom. The shower is very small and the curtain does not catch the water, therefore spilling out onto the floor. The oil ‘fireplace’ was a nice touch. There is not much insulation for noise control with neighbours, but still the chic rustic feel that makes this resort unique. The main dining area is large, with uninterrupted views. Staff were all polite and the food was great - not 5* considering the prices, but still great. The kitchen was out of many dishes and condiments during our stay - perhaps because it’s the end of their season. Our much anticipated boat tour was canceled, due to the boat being in for maintenance. This was a big disappointment as this was the main reason we had booked our honeymoon at this resort, however we realize these things happen. We would definitely return for a future stay!
