We booked the entire Hammond House for our annual family reunion and mainly for the music room....didn't really know what to expect with the property but upon arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised! The music studio had a mixer where we were able to plug in our music and the musical equipment was very good. Sound was great and more than loud enough. There were plenty of rooms and beds for large parties (we had 14), comfortable beds, and clean. The main room and commercial kitchen is an open floor plan...very large! It rained most of the time during our stay so we didn't really get to enjoy the large patio and outdoors but it is peaceful and plenty of room to roam. Overall, a great place with lots of room for large parties. Owners were very nice and accommodating! thanks Harold and Fei!

Room tip: Upstairs room is best for couples...has open floor plan with insuite bath. Downstairs rooms good for families with shared bathroom.

The three of us spent 3 days and two nights with Harold and Fei at their 25 acre hideaway. My wife and I and Mom (88years young) were very comfortable in the spacious surroundings. Excellent food (Fei's Fritatta) and warm hearted conversation made us feel very welcome.
Every room is unique with it's own personality. Very comfortable.
The studio / band room is very well equipped and has great acoustics.

This is not your carbon copy tacky tourist trap. These folks care about their guests. You will see them working on improvements every day.

Go and enjoy !

My team and myself recently booked the Harrison Hammond House for a music video shoot. The accommodations where amazing and the scenery was breathtaking. We were able to utilize the recording studio space as well as the outside grounds which came off great on camera. We will definitely be back to book the place for a weekend. Lot's of great attractions close by and very comfy stay. Thanks for the amazing time guys! You can see the Harrison Hammond House in the music video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx-8XyPfzQQ . Thanks again Harold and Fei!

Room tip: Master suite is fantastic!

I had a wonderful stay at Hammond House. My boyfriend and I were spending our anniversary there and as soon as we arrived we were upgraded to the private cabin for the same price. It was really peaceful and we enjoyed our stay. However, I would suggest paying in cash, as I used my credit card and was not charged until 3 months later. I was recently charged a second time (6 months after my stay). I'm not sure why they are charging my card and I'm still waiting for the refund. Great place, but pay them in cash.

Thanks for the phone call confirming your refund. We had a 6 month period of random credit cards being approved but no money being deposited to our account. With the help of our credit provider, we have collected most of the non-deposit transactions. Your account was the only one charged twice and we still have outstanding debt as some of the cards were expired. Thanks for the positive review and hope to see you again. Fei and Harold

First off, although this bed and breakfast shows up as being in the greater Vancouver area, it is a 90 minute drive into the country and away from the hustle of town. This is not necessarily a negative, but it is a good thing to be aware of since we did not manage to make it out to the house until almost 8pm. Luckily we brought some food and wine/beer with us and were able to stock the fridge for the night without having to go back out (the closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away and there is a restaurant about 5 min away if you prefer). When you arrive, you are greeted like you are an old friend and shown to your room. Harold is very welcoming and super accommodating! We booked the suite which was awesome, and it totally makes you feel like you own the place. The only weird part was that the bathroom and shower was not separate from the bedroom area, but the overall atmosphere made up for that one weirdness. I travel a lot and this may have been the best night sleep I can ever remember, the bed was so comfortable! The best part by far was the breakfast, such an amazing spread!! I was sad to leave but already excited to plan the next trip to the farm.

Room tip: Splurge a little and go with the suite, you won't be disappointed!
