Great property! We've stayed at self catering places around the globe and they usually have some weak points. This is one of the best as far as quality goes. Clean, modern, well equipped kitchen including beautiful east coat Paderno cookware! New smart TV's, great internet speed, comfortable beds. The "ocean view" may be a bit of a stretch, but the suites make up for it. Plan to stop in again on our way back from traVeling around eastern NL.
We went as a large group and rented two houses. The staff was amazing! Very helpful, everything was very clean! Large deck off the house and free wifi was a plus for the kids! Great view. House was very spacious and perfect for a family of 5. Not far from many attractions and beaches. Would recommend. Plan on going back!
Except one or two units the rest has no view of ocean even few of them are in basement. you could see from web site picture and the location of windows that they are basement units.
Very expensive for the facility they offer.
We stayed at the Comerfords while touring Newfoundland and found the apartment to be spacious and pretty clean. The floors squeaked and the decor was dated. Having said that, it was totally adequate for our needs. We were on the second floor but still had to walk a short distance to see the harbour.
These are bright, well furnished, spacious clean efficiency suites,- there are suites with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms (and of course kitchen, living room,private bath etc). Our kitchen (in a 1 bedroom suite) was equipped with fridge, stove, micro, coffeemaker even utensils. The units are located in a lovely setting looking down on the waters of Conception Bay. These suites are located in Holyrood, within about a 35 minute drive to St John's. Free parking right next to each suite. Very reasonably priced,- quiet and peaceful, off the main road.
