This hotel is right on the seafront- we had a top floor room with a balcony from which we had a side view of the sea. The room was attractively decorated with two Queen beds, a sideboard and a small table with chairs and a decent sized bathroom.
The lift is small and eccentric- one has to keep a hand on the button while you are in motion as the lift stops whenever pressure is released. we ate the first night in the hotel in a charming dining room with a stunning view of the harbour.
One negative point- each evening the bar had a musician so guests paid to go in. This meant no chance for a drink in the bar unless one paid to go in. Rocky Harbour was an attractive place but in sept off season most of the eating places were closed and if, like me, you are a vegetarian getting a decent meal was difficult.More
