Even if you were very welcome when we arrive and the place in very nice, we had a bad experience with our key. In fact, after a good lunch outside, we can back at the BB and we weren't able to open the room door because we had forgetten the key inside. The problem: the owner don't leave at the BB and you don't have an emergency number for such case. Hopefully, an other guest was there and had her phone. So after, many calls around, we reach the owner and we get in. So, if you go there, don't forget to ask for an emergency number.

Room tip: Close to a good restaurant

We spent the night with another couple and we really enjoyed it. The owners were very enthusiastic and friendly. We love the cat ...
The owners just took over this Inn this year and I think inherited a challenge. They are so nice and realize they have work to do (e.g. breakfast is lacking) but please give them a try. The next time we are in the area we sure will.

Nice Inn with great view.
Clean, updated room and nice updated building. Very nice lower and upper porch for sitting and taking in the view.
Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. Nice big common room and breakfast dinning area.

Nice cozy place to stay but not very friendly or accommodating to children. Wouldn't recommend for any family based vacations. No fridges, microwaves or coffee makers in rooms. No fire pit outside or picnic table. We booked 3 rooms for the weekend & should have felt more comfortable for our stay - instead we felt like we had to tip toe around. This place is definitely geared more towards older quiet adults.

A sleeping cat greeted me on the porch which was my first positive sign. Co-Owner Mike was sitting on the couch inside with another cat on his lap. He said he would put on the coffee earlier in the morning if we'd like-very welcoming. The owners helped to advise us on where to go for dinner. They even called places to make sure they were open.

This was my first B&B experience. It was oh so quiet at all hours. No blasting TVs. Our TV was a nice little high definition one with all channels in English and in French. The inn is at a great location right next to the park's entrance. I liked how Mike's wife was in her socks when she showed our room. The room has the basic necessities-a warm bed but was lacking in decorative character. The views on our wraparound deck were gorgeous.

I only saw two other people at breakfast time. The radio was a bit loud (even though I welcomed hearing pop songs from the states) and the food selection was slim but again nothing beat that beautiful sun streaming through the breakfast room.
---

Bottom Line: Quiet, solid sleep. A charming first B&B experience.

Room tip: If you are a quiet party then this is the place for you. Noisy families should stay in separate lodgings elsewhere.
