I have to say my expectations were low, in a very small town (where I currently work), surprisingly good!
I went on a Friday lunch about 1pm and was at one point the only customer in the place.
My one reservation on a better rating was having 3 staff and me in there, I don't want to listen to your conversations and gossip. I did find the service from the waitress was a little slow, no water refill etc., so they lost points from me on that.
The food was very fresh and hot, nothing felt stale or like it was sitting around, the tempura was hot, crisp and not oily which sometimes happens with old oil.
The sushi although limited selection, (no surprise for lunch and a small place)
I would say over all a good value, good food (not top shelf) but worth a stop if you need sushi while you are in town!
NOTE: if you are a foodie or sushi expert, this is not for you; but an average sushi lover will be more than satisfied with the selection and quality!
