I came here for a Paint Nite session. The restaurant is spacious and is within the Novotel Hotel right across from Vaughan Mills. We ordered some wine and fires. The waitress was very nice and accommodating, especially when serving such a large group of people. Great space for an event.

We stayed at Novotel and used the restaurant and lounge twice during our stay. I reccomend the Calamari, we enjoyed it and we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Staff is competent and very helpful.

A number of our family had the opportunity to stay at the Novotel Hotel and experience the Trio Restaurant. We were Impressed with both the hotel and the restaurant. Staff are very pleasant and courteous, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms.

The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet as well as from the menu, also very nice. Afternoon apps and evening dinner are well presented and well prepared. I would recommend the NY strip. Also well received was the stuffed portobello with risotto. A nice wine selection, either by the glass or bottle as well as a nice selection of local craft on tap.

The Trio has a beautiful patio that we missed due to weather.

Went for a Paint night. We showed up an hour before to get some food. The food was ok, but the waitress was extremely rude and slow. After our meal, we went to pay for the bill (which wasn't brought to us). She told us the amount, paid it without thinking much. Then we asked for a bill. She spent extra time, fumbling around trying to print it (or something), when we finally got it (which was a non-detailed bill (only the final amount), we noticed there was an extra 15% charge on top. The excuse was "because its paint night". We were not informed that there was going to be any additional charges and certainly not expecting one to hide these by not giving us a detailed bill. I asked to revert the charges, said it was impossible. Decided the fight was not worth the effort, left with bad feelings. Wont return.
