We stayed in one of the cabins from August 22-25 at Parkview Farms. The cabin was spotless and had lots of space for 2 adults and 1 child. It would comfortably sleep at least 4-5. We loved the property, there were small play structures for the kids, a volleyball net, basketball net and the private beach is a very short walk away. Nothing beats sitting on the deck and being able to view the farm with cows and see the water. Our favorite part was waking up early or going in the afternoon to see the milking of the cows and playing with the barn cats. Playing with the cats was my daughters favorite part of our whole Eastern Canada vacation. The MacNeil's were great hosts, the property is very well kept. We will return on our next adventure to PEI.

Room Tip: The cabins are a great choice if you would like a more private get away

Happy to return to Parkview! A few years ago, we enjoyed staying in the house, but this time our trip was fairly last minute and the house was all booked. Luckily one of the MacNeill's cottages was available and we had the opportunity to stay in a two bedroom cottage which was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The kids went straight out to the barn to see the calves and the kittens, which they remembered from our past visit, and as with last time, Parkview provided a excellent home base for further explorations of the area. The farm backs onto the ocean, so you can walk back the farm lane to the beautiful red sand coast which is an awesome sight. In addition to enjoying seafood dinners, repeat visits to Green Gables, Shining Waters and Sandspit, we also visited the Anne of Green Gables Museum near Park Corner, which we positively loved. The MacNeill's were also kind enough to invite us to their church's Strawberry Social - a delicious treat! We also really enjoyed mouthwatering pizza from the wood-fired oven at nearby Glasgow Glen Farm and a visit to the Great Canadian Soap Company near Brackley Beach!

Room Tip: Every cottage has an great ocean view!

The 7 of us arrived @ the cottage really late @ about 11pm, hence Eleanor gave us all the necessary info for us to get to the right cottage.
It was a very homey setting. We wanted to see animals and was pleased to be able to visit the cows and cats. I even got to pat some cows~! X)
We met Eleanor and her husband, they were both very nice and friendly.
We left via a close-by driveway to Cavendish beach and continued exploring PEI.

We stayed at one of the 3 bedroom cottages next tot he barns. It was huge, we had 8 people and we fit in it great. They have everything you could need including a washer/dryer. A short walk to a beach (5 minutes). A short 5 minute drive to all the wonders that Cavendish has to offer.
The hosts were great, you can visit the cows and cats anytime. I recommend getting up at 5:30 to watch the milking, then enjoy the sunrise at the beach.

Room Tip: try to get the A-Frame, it looks amazing
