A decent choice. I liked that the covered secure parking came with security camera coverage that front desk staff see on screen. Room was just big enough, room at back was quiet, main square just a hundred meters away.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel San Jorge, on the recommendation of a friend. We were shown rooms on the interior column, no windows out of the building. We rejected those and were next shown 3rd floor with small balconys and we accepted those. The rooms were spacious, bed comfortable, washrooms and showers fine and spacious. There was air conditioning, with the ceiling fan it was not used. Very noisy outside, constant buses and police whistles guiding said buses. But, and a large but, by 10:00 PM all noise stops. Finito. Roll up the sidewalk, and it is quiet all night. I am sure an inner room is like a tomb but the "noisy" ones are much more interesting. The desk folk do not have much English (or any on some shifts) but you can get around that. The inside parking is tight but adequate, we parked and left the vehicle for the duration of our visit. The restaurant is open from 7:00 to 3:00. We didn't eat there, the décor is imaginatively unimaginative and a rather limited menu.

Room Tip: Window rooms are daytime noisy, nightime quiet and interesting balconey views always.

Room Tip: las habitaciones al frente son de muy buena iluminación, pero la calle es muy transitada escuchas mucho ruido.
