This small open-sided restaurant is situated right on the beach-front Akumal Bay, Quintana Roo
Ice cool Sol slated the salty thirst while we pored over the extensive menu. Whether you want just a snack or something more substantial, the choice is excellent. Hot nachos and spicy tomato dip helped us along.
Mixed seafood kebab served on a bed of rice with mixed vegetables and pineapple salsa was my choice. It consisted of a good quantity of fresh white fish, shrimp, bacon, onions and green pepper. Delightful!
The other half went for 3 x sliders with fries and horseradish cream. Each slider was bigger than we expected and contained plenty of tender beef, fried onions and melted cheese. Great
Being the greedy one I chose a side of Chilli Cheese Fries. This was huge, came as a starter and was a total star. Could eat that every day
This is not a Michelin* restaurant. It does what it's good at. Good, fresh food, prepared quickly and at a fair price
The whole ensemble together with 4 bottles of Sol $42 US
