Our friends live near here and wanted to take us here for dinner,as it is one of their favorite places. We had a reservation, which is probably recommended for busy times, as the restaurant is not overly big. But the setup is decent, while you are seated close to the people beside you, you don't feel cramped. The decor is nice as well and I enjoyed watching the pizzas go in the wood fired oven as I sat there. The menu is not large, their specialty is the pizzas, but they also have salads, a pasta special, and a couple of small plates, as well as a selection of Italian beers and wines. We started with a rustic bread with olive oil and balsamic, which was very good. For dinner, I ordered a pizza whose name I don't remember, that had tomatoes, herbs, burrata, arugula, and basil drizzle. I changed the arugula to basil and it came out very good. The crust was nice and thin, but crispy, just how I like it. My husband opted for the special of purple potato gnocchi with a basil pesto sauce and he was very happy with his choice. Our friends had two pizzas as well, one that was a mix of meat and mushrooms and one that was a lot of greens with anchovies. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and being there. Yes, it takes a bit longer when they are busy, as you can only cook a few pizzas at a time, but the wait is worth it. Plus all the staff and owners were very friendly. I would love to eat there again!
