Only stayed two nights ..quite small but clean and friendly.. Breakfast was good , had better but it was hot and fresh .. Owners very friendly,bedroom clean . Wasn't too expensive either,close to shops, local bars and restaurants More

My single room on the top floor was bright and felt homely- thoughtful touches, including milk in a tiny fridge for tea & coffee (supplied in little containers, more sustainable than throw away packets - so great to think of environment as well). Breakfast delicious and lovely people as well! Made my work trip to Workington a pleasure. thanks x

Friendly, accommodating owners and a spotless, comfortable room with an en suite shower. Lovely breakfast, and situated just over the road from a shop. A fantastic choice for anyone visiting in Cumbria.

We always try to be friendly and accommodating and make our guests feel comfortable when they come to stay with us. We also love giving guests a breakfast to set them up right for the day - and we have a few shops and takeaways nearby for guests to pick up something for the day as well.

Stayed here overnight while working in the area. Originally booked at another hotel however due to a boiler issue we had to find alternative accommodation and I’m glad we did. This bed and breakfast is fantastic, the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and tidy and it has a real home from home feel to it. When working in the area again this will be my preferred accommodation

We stayed at Working House Bed & Breakfast in May, when we stopped en route to Scafell Pike. We had two rooms and both were well decorated, a good size, comfy bed, lovely en-suite and very quiet and peaceful, we got a great nights sleep! The owners were very helpful and friendly. Parking is available very close to the B&B, no problem. Breakfast was plentiful with a great range of options. It took less than 10 minutes to walk in to the town centre. Would highly recommend this B&B!

Stayed here for 2 nights and can highly recommend. Breakfast was very tasty and the couple who run this establishment are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again. Close to the town and a free car park just 2 minutes walk away.
