My husband and I are frequent visitors to The Mug Tree so we decided to hold our sons first birthday party there. We had a delicious afternoon tea with some savoury extras, all made from scratch, and they even provided some special little snacks for all the babies present too. Food was up to the usual high standard I have come to expect from this lovely little family run tea room. The birthday cake was excellent and exactly what I asked for. Also loved that Katherine noticed my T-shirt (of my favorite band) and added my favorite music to the playlist, and even played the theme to Doctor Who for us (my favorite TV show and the music my son was supposed to be born to!). I would definitely recommend having your party at The Mug Tree, delicious food, friendly attentive staff and very reasonable prices in my opinion.

Took my daughter for a late lunch and really pleased they offer gluten free food. From sandwiches to crumpets. My daughter had crumpets and was very pleased as she normally struggles to find something to eat.

They now have different items on the menu. The Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon Bagels were delicious, served with a side salad and crisps, great value too at £4.95. Other fillings available
