We have stayed at Majorca Isle many times and have always had a wonderful time. The staff are always very helpful and the units are always very clean and well equipped .The views from the unit are fantastic which ever position in the building you are staying. There are many restaurants to chose from mostly within walking distance. The beach is an easy walk across the road also the surf club. If you like walking it is very easy to go along the river or towards Alexandra Headlands either on the beach or along the road. We will definitely be going back in the near future.

Room Tip: Rooms in the middle of the building are very quiet. We like the high floors but all units are well positioned.

On the recommendation of several family members, we stayed here for two weeks in August and Sep 2016. There were two adults and two kids aged 4 and 2. We had a two bedroom apartment on the first floor (unit 5). We asked for a lower one, as we thought it would be easier with the kids. And to be honest, we were probably a bit noisy, so better not to disturb the couples who'd probably want a higher room with a better view.

The apartments are all individually owned and so all different. The information on the website is a little contradictory: the wifi is free, you just need to ask for a pass code. Very good reception on our floor. The website says all apartments have baths: ours didn't, and for young kids this was a problem. We would definitely check this next time. Our apartment was otherwise perfect: comfortable beds with extra blankets, aircon (not needed) and ceiling fans, large balcony doors which we kept open much of the time to catch the ocean breeze. Two bathrooms with smallish showers, a washer and dryer, full kitchen, TV and dvd player. Tiled living area, which is probably best with sand! Vacuum cleaner and mop provided (rooms aren't really serviced; you get fresh linen after a week and a cursory clean but that's it. We found we needed to clean the floor after about 6 days), Our apartment overlooked the pool and higher ones on that side would overlook the beach.

The pool (salt, heated) was great, lots of swimming took place! The bottom is very rough and kids got a lot of scrapes. Deep enough to swim comfortably, though not huge. The outdoor spa didn't work the whole time we were there, but the indoor spa was great. There's also a sauna and an older kid's games room. There's a tennis court and it's just over a small road from the main surfing beach.

The location couldn't be better: on the beach, but on the other side there's a library and bowls club and street of shops including a supermarket, bakery, fish and chip shop, clothing, toys, chemist, cafes. 5 minutes away is the caravan park with a sheltered beach and 10 minutes walk away is Cotton Tree Park with playgrounds, basketball courts and more sheltered beaches. Hugely popular with joggers, cyclists, dog walkers, families, really vibrant and friendly. Twenty minutes' walk away (just follow the water past the playgrounds) is Sunshine Plaza, a large shopping mall with heaps of food options, supermarkets, K Mart, Target and heaps of shops. We bought a $20 stroller from K mart for our 4 year old which allowed us to walk quickly and get further. For example, we walked to Mooloolaba, 3.5 kms away up over Alexandra Headland, and were able to visit more beaches, shops, playgrounds and Underwater World, with no need to take public transport. But the buses to Noosa and elsewhere are everywhere, so very easy access to the rest of the coast. We will definitely return!

Only cons: a couple of lightbulbs were out, the TV control wasn't working well. But these things are tiny issues which, if they'd been a bother, we would have reported and no doubt had repaired. As it was, they didn't bother us.

side note: we bought some pool toys, a noodle, ball and floaty ring for the kids to play with, and we donated these to Reception for other families to use, along with the stroller, so ask what they've got when you go. Save you packing too much!

Considering the amazing location and comfortable apartment and amenities, this place is wonderful value. Definitely consider!

Room Tip: higher floors = better views. Unit 5 is modern, good bathrooms, but NO BATH

We stayed in a 2 bedroom self-contained apartment with ensuites, on the 6th floor, overlooking the sea, heated pool and tennis court. There's a games room, spa & sauna on the ground floor. The beach is a 1-2 min. walk past the pool & tennis court and is patrolled by the Maroochydore Surf Lifesaving Club.

The view from our lounge and balcony was amazing; in fact, the views from the bedrooms and kitchen, were almost as good, but facing the opposite way, over the town and across to the Maroochy River, where the Cotton Tree Caravan Park is.

The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable and the living area (kitchen/lounge/ dining) spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play while we put our feet up, after a great day out, exploring. There's a lift, so no endless stairs to climb.

A small laundry in the apartment has a large washing machine & dryer and both were easy to use.

A small supermarket about 5 min. walk away, also a couple of take-away places for fish & chips, etc., also Thai restaurant, plus other places to eat in the same area. There's also a library across the road.
We found some great shops for retail therapy, all only 5 minutes walk away.

The owner was very helpful in his advice and happy to answer any questions.

The location is very central for drives to the hinterland & lots of other great places are an easy drive away, including the Australia Zoo, Buderim, Blackall Range, Montville & Coolum, etc., etc.

We can't fault the accommodation, the area, nothing. Everything was great.

We had a fantastic holiday and would stay there again!

Room Tip: Higher rooms have the best views of the sea.

We recently had a weeks family holiday at the Majorca Isle and we couldn't have picked a better place. We had an ocean view room which we were also lucky enough to have views to the north across the Maroochydore River.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the facilities were fantastic for all the family. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean, just wish I had taken note of the brand of mattress we slept on as It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
We will definitely be booking again at Majorca Isle
