Atmosphere is chill and vibrant. Food is fresh made onsite. Sangria is amazing. Service was very friend and welcoming. Great little hole in the wall.

This is a nice little outdoor eatery tucked away on ocean street. We attended a friend’s birthday dinner here and loved every bit of the atmosphere. They have an outdoor setting that’s all lit up at night and with energetic Mexican type music it’s a lovely lively atmosphere for a night out. I wasn’t so crazy about my meal when I visited, I had the chicken nachos which was a nice generous portion but wasn’t as flavourful as it could be. The chicken itself tasted great (more pieces would be great) but everything else on the plate just kind of blended into each other resulting in a bland meal. However that didn’t spoil my experience of this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was great. I would gladly recommend this place. Please note that being on Ocean Street there’s limited street parking but tons of parking available at the Big Top market parking lot which is a 20 metre (2 Mins) walk to Ocean Street.

It was packed on a Saturday night with happy, vibrant young people. Food cheap and mediocre at best. Fried Brussels sprouts with bacon inedible as over salted. Fried wings more like legs-bland but tasty. The tacos were ok but no chilli in sight. No washing up as everything including the homemade sangria carafes disposable plastic. Plates cardboard, beer “glasses” plastic and cutlery disposable bamboo. A very large environmental footprint. If you are into the younger set, don’t mind loud music, sitting on backless metal stools and eating with your fingers then right up your alley. If you are older like me and want a little refinement then look elsewhere. Can not book under 6 people so pot luck.

Vibes all round, great reasonably priced Mexican food and a superb selection of beer. Check out the cosy section down the back. I'll be back.
