We went to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night and booked 4 weeks in advance. The greeting was a bit offish, with no acknowledgement of our booking? Shown to our table which was not set, and took a while to be presented with the wine list and menu.
Chose a wine on the list which was not available. Tried another - also not available. Settled for a red when no Sauvignon Blanc was available. Wine presented at $9 per glass and when we asked to see the label, we were told it was a "cleanskin"??
Service initially was pretty average and not really that friendly, but improved as the night went on.
Thankfully, the food was EXTRAORDINARY and delicious in all aspects. Cancelled out the other negatives of the evening, and the ambience was fantastic in lovely surroundings.
