We stayed this weekend at the Renmark Hotel for two nights. Room on second floor so a few steps. Nice Room and a good size. Nice Balcony with two chairs overlooking River. Big Shower with Shampoo/cond Bodywash supplied. Also hand wash / skin moisturiser as well. Friendly helpful staff and room clean. Went out for Tea at Hotel as well and nice Salad Bar. Big Pokies Room and had a few small wins. Nice large Hotel central in Town across is River and lovely walking trail. Enjoyed our stay. Wish bought Fishing Rod.

When staying in Renmark we had an evening meal there.
Nice ambience.
A pleasant reasonably priced delicious meal with friendly staff.
Clean toilet.
After the meal we were looking through the older historical part of the hotel. Reception staff told us about a mueum they had on the first floor. A most interesting place, worth a look.

Overlooking the mighty Murray, this hotel has commanding views along the river. The possums in the trees outside add interest for tourists. There are a number of styles of rooms to fit every budget. The rooms are clean. The staff helpful. The convenience of the range of foods available on site was a bonus.

Room Tip: Go for the room with a view and a balcony

The Renmark Hotel is an attractive looking art deco building positioned alongside the Murray river. The lobby is in keeping with the exterior and the restaurant is modern and comfortable. A pity then that the rooms look decidedly 1980s and are badly in need of refurbishment and as well as of step with the attractive exterior of the place.

Meals in the restaurant are of good quality, and service is fast and efficient.

The Renmark Hotel is a great place to stay and is a very interesting hotel that is proud of its history.
We stayed in a Deluxe 'Nanya' room which is a first floor room over the hotels conference/function room and features a balcony with great views of the Murray River which is literally just across the road from the hotel. Our room had one of the best room compendiums in it I have ever had. It featured a fully comprehensive listing of all the dining options at the hotel restaurant but also lots of info on the other facilities like the Gaming bar/lounge, the kids play area there was a map of the whole hotel too (not just a map of emergency exits) the compendium also featured the history of the hotel and its development which I think gives a visitor an appreciation of the place.
The room itself was extremely spacious, king bed, coffee table, desk, dining table for two and a full size 2 seater sofa plus out door seating on the balcony. Good size bathroom which unexpectedly had a two sink vanity with plenty of storage. Room was also good if you wanted to do some basic self catering as plates and cutlery supplied, a toaster and a microwave as well as the standard tea & coffee making equipment. Kitchenette also featured a full size sink so no need to use the bathroom for kettle filling and dishwashing !!.
The room décor was perhaps a little dated as a bit dark and woody in its style, but absolutely no complaints it was a great room to be in.

A surprise bonus was that there is also a museum within the main hotel building which has a fantastic display about the history of the hotel and its development, the displays are in some of the old accommodation rooms which still have their old room numbers above the door, free of charge and worth a visit.

All staff we met were helpful and friendly, I would definitely be happy to stay here again and would recommend.
