We were sat in the lounge area it was nice comfortable and our server was very efficient, he was not just in the lounge as we saw him waiting tables in other areas yet we were never at a loss or waited for anything.
The food was OUTSTANDING one entree chosen was the Parmesan Crusted Chicken as well as the Chicken Cabanara and Eggplant Parmesan we had soup and salad and the rolls are addictive.
KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB EVERYONE
And THANK YOU

Chardon is on our route and we stop occasionally for lunch or dinner. It was dinner this time, and we could see that some renovations were recently completed. No complaints, and the service was fast, even though it was very busy (7th world series game about to start on their many TV's). Good food, tasty sauces. My only complaint would be the "salad" that came with the dinner. It was really just a small plate of iceberg lettuce. They tossed a couple razor thin slices of cukes on there, and a couple embarrassingly small pieces of tomatoes, but it was a plate of iceberg lettuce.
Otherwise, this is a nice place to stop. Kind of a cross between a sports bar and an Italian casual restaurant. We saw quite a few family groups here, so I'm assuming the locals feel it's a good family spot. We had the "Joey's Trio," which has portions of chicken parm, fettuccini Alfredo, and lasagna - all quite tasty. We also tried a wing basket (a dozen wings served with fries) which was good, but nothing to make it stand out from everyone else. A nice touch would have been fresh cut fries instead of the frozen variety, but on World Series night with a cold beer, it was just fine!
All in all, this is a nice little spot! Just know what it is, and don't expect to be dazzled by exotic creations from world renowned chefs. It is what it is, and that's alright by me.

This is a typical eatery. They do have a bar and dinning room and are is the process of adding onto the bar seating area. On a Friday night or Saturday it can be very busy and very noisy! service is not the greatest and the floors were dirty.

We often get carry out from Joey's and it's usually pizza. We like everything else on their menu, but the rest of the pizza places in Chardon don't compare. I usually get a deluxe pizza and it has plenty of toppings always baked just right. Happy to have Joey's as a quality dining choice in Chardon.
