Just got home from seeing "Love Never Dies". The play was very good, the voices exceptional. More than that, Cleveland can be very proud of their theater district, the biggest theater district besides NYC. The seats at the State Theater are on the smallish size and the leg room is short but its a restored theater - not a Regal Cinema and that has to be taken into consideration. The volunteer Red Coats are helpful and pleasant. Its sad to see people in ripped jeans at the theater but I understand times have changed. Despite that, going to the theater in Cleveland is a treat and I've never been disappointed.

We've been to the Key Bank State Theater many times for their Productions. The atmosphere is outstanding elegant tasteful and very detailed. Playhouse Square Theater district is one of the best. Parking is easy to get in and out of. Restaurants are plentiful. Easy access and a great time.

Playhouse Square has beautiful theatres and produces top notch theatrical entertainment. I'm a subscriber for the Broadway Series musicals, but have also enjoyed Cleveland Playhouse productions, as well as individual special performances.
It is truly a Cleveland gem. and a great attraction for individuals, couples and families.
A bonus for the Broadway series is a free pre-show talk called the Broadway Buzz which provides background information for the current show.

Irish Christmas "Sing" at Key Bank Theatre was disapointing. First, there was too much audience participation sing-a-longs. This combined with presenter who consumed too much time of show preaching about Bible's and children around the world. At the intermission he preached too long regarding children and Bible's. Really took away from show. A brief explanation of his cause should have been sufficient. Would not recommend show because of these two issues. Otherwise Troup was very talented and enjoyed their music.

We have been patrons for many years and have travelled to other regions to attend events but, outside of New York, do you find so many great offerings in beautiful venues. Pick a genre and there is something on the schedule.
