Had dinner with friends on Thursday at 6pm 11/9 at this crowded, busy and extremely noisy restaurant. This was our third time here and found it very uncomfortable sitting at undersized table for 4 with little room on the table for our food, had to remove bread plates to have room for entrees. Tables so close that you can't get up without disturbing your neighbor. Waitress having hard time getting between tables (management apparently trying to get every dime out of the limited space). Don't go here if you are looking for a comfortable dinner with some quiet conversation. As for the food, 3 of us found the meal below average (for our third time), maybe because we ordered from the "early bird" menu this time, though no excuse on past visits. My wife chose Veal Cannelon ($14.00) which she said was tasteless, couldn't taste any veal only cheese, and didn't finish it. I ordered Veal Marsala ($13.00) while my friend's wife had Chicken Marsala ($13.00). Watery sauce over spaghetti and a small piece of veal in my case-chicken in hers, both of us found it tasteless kind of like fast food Italian at the mall. Our friend's husband on the other hand loved the Chicken Cacciatore ($17.00 from the regular menu) and has had it each of our prior visits (of course he raves about a hot dog from a street vendor) and it was his suggestion we have dinner here again. Never again, this was strike 3 in my book. However, our server 84 Gabriell was a spot of sunshine, very attentive in this hectic restaurant and should be commended.
