Later part of a friday night on the road and looking for an entertaining dinner I decided on the Hibachi Steak House. I know it is listed here in Cleveland, but this location is in Fairview Park, Ohio near the Cleveland airport.
Kudos to the manger as it was late she did not wait until there was a full table as is usual with most hibachi restaurants, but she had my order taken and sent the chef out shortly after.
A few couples did come in after me and they were seated at another table.
I started with a Planters Punch.
My onion soup had a larger portion of mushrooms than is normal for type of restaurant.
The salad was nicely chilled
I chose the steak and shrimp combo. Also, decided on noodles in lieu of white or fried rice ($3.00 charge).
Though I was the only one at my table the chef, much to his credit did the whole hibachi chef routine. Playing with the cooking utensils, making fire on the table, volcano onion (no steam train :( ).
I like they had some celery with the noodles and the veggies include carrots in addition to the onions, broccoli, mushrooms and zucchini.
The steak was a nice looking piece of meat and was cooked medium as I requested.
The shrimp was another story. Absolutely the best grilled shrimp I have ever had.at a hibachi restaurant.
A very entertaining and delicious dinner.
The bathroom was another story as well. Especially the ceiling vet fan which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in this century.

It definitly was not the best experience for me. The place is expensive and the food it`s not the best thing in the world. I think they sell the show far more than the food. I ordered a chiken teriyaki and it was over cooked. The guy who was cooking the food was a clown. And he wasted so many food because it was part of the show. I would rater ate the shrimp he threw at us.

This is a sushi and steakhouse in one. Went here for the sushi but hubby's not fond of Japanese food – which is okay because there's something for everyone in the menu. The servings are huge for one person – even from the kids menu. If you're seated in the hibachi table, you're chef will cook the food right in front of you! Our chef's was fun and kept the dinner preparation interesting! This is a great place for dining out at night, I won't go on lunch though – because all that cooking/grilling smoke sticks to your clothes and hair!

I'm sorry but if this is Japanese cuisine I'm not 1/2 Japanese. The chef kept asking, "You like my cooking it's better than Beni Hanas." We are not the type to embarrass someone and say that it wasn't. The fried rice was crunchy, the soba noodles were mushy. The meats were okay with crunchy edges that tells me the grill was up too high. I've gone to alot of Japanese grills but this was not a good one. Won't be back & a little pricey.
