“GREEN GREEN & GREEN”
Review of Golf Links

Reviewed 6 June 2017

After you have completed the tour of DBCIC, you take your car through the city towards POLO ground. On the way you will encounter the greenery of the Golf Links/ Golf course.
As Shillong was a center during British Colonial empire, Golf course is common. We you can enjoy the view of the lush green outfields on both side of the road.
Spend 15-20 minutes here, take some nice pics and then move on wards.

This is a huge, well-maintained golf course with lush green surroundings and the range of mountains in the backdrop. Very popular place of hanging out for the locals and equally famous among the tourists. There is a small outdoor restaurant adjacent to the golf course which sells lovely momos. A must-see attraction in Shiilong.

The reason shillong being called Scotland of the east is primarily because of this eye struck beauty of golf link.

We visited in January. Wrong time to visit as the golf course was brown in colour. Otherwise it's nice big open place to relax with family and friends. plan you visit just after rainy to experience greenery.
