It's a family bussiness and they are really, really great people, open to any request you have and very warm with the guests.
The food was also really tasty, you could find a lot of variety there.
I totally recommend this hotel!!!

We were in crete for a conference and chose cretan garden. I booked a room on booking.com fout months ahead of time for four nights and I paid 292€ (tax included). Seeing so little pictures on trip advisor and booking.com, I really did not know what to expect. Satisfied is an under statement of how I left this place.

We arrived at 2 am. Tony was there and welcomed us, and asked if we would like something to eat before we sleep. Next morning we woke up to a nice breakfast, cereals, bread and cheese, sweets and others (pictures attached) with a great view of the pool, the bar and the beach. Weather over there was almost perfect, a bit windy. A jacket can come in handy.

Rooms were wide, well cleaned and maintained. AC and hairdrier are available in every room along with two soap bars. You can purchase any needed items from a nearby supermarket. Also, there's a foot road to the beach near the hotel which is perfect.

Late lunch is served at 6 pm. Food is delicious.

What is really special about this hotel is the friendliness and peefect hospitality of the owners. Conny and her mom cannot be get any sweeter and they went the extra mile for us. Feel free to ask them for touristic advice.

All in all perfect stay on this well managed family business.

We arrived at the hotel at around 11 am and we were not greated very well, no smile, no welcome, we felt like intruders because our plane arrived earlier than 14, their check-in time. Moving past the first impression, which was very bad, the hotel has nice ammenities: a nice pool where we could always find a chair and umbrella, a nice terrace with a bar. The room is simple, we had one facing the sea, which I recommend. Staying on the balcony was one of our favourite times. The bathroom is very small and basic, the toilet kept running all the time, we reported this but they couldn't fix it. The water was cold during mornings and after 20, so shower between these times if you want hot or warm water. Not many toiletries provided, towels changed every 2 days and 2 tiny soaps so bring your own. The bed was very hard, it was difficult to sleep the first couple of nights before we got used to it. There was a fridge in the room, a very old one, which made a lot of noise when it started to cool off, which was every other 5 min, so during the nights we could hear it. It wasn't very hot during the nights as it was September so we didn't need air cond but if you do need it it costs 50euro per week. There is a tv in the room but all the 20 channels are in Greek so we didn't use it much. There were also ants in the room, which were attracted by our clothes so we had to fight them off. The halfboard meals are good, the breakfast is the same, they change the sweets (which are good) but plentiful. The yogurt was good but I would recommend more fruits. The breakfast time is between 8-9.30 so we couldn't sleep in late but it gave us plenty of time to make use of the day afterwards. The dinner has around 5 courses and salads, different meals every day, and there is something for everyone's taste. The drinks are not included at dinner, so you'll have to pay for that as well. We also had lunch there, they serve snacks, pizza, salads. The beach is 5 min away but it's not a very nice one, it's very small and full of algae. If you want a nice one you'll need to walk around 30 min on the shore or rent a car, there are plenty of nice beaches in Crete, but they aren't in walking distance. The wi-fi is free of charge and you'll have a decent signal at the pool and restaurant, not in your room. Another useful tip, have cash around, they do not have credit cards and you cannot pay with one almost anywhere in Crete. All in all, we had a nice, relaxing time, we visited a bit the sorroundings and stayed at the pool so we were content but the hotel is maximum 3 stars and it shows.

We love this place. We came for our honeymoon and that hotel is very nice. Very clean inside and outside. Owners have two hotels and have international experience with services. Owners are very friendly. We came at 2:30am to reception because bus technical problem. Stuff in there made us a late dinner! It was nice.

Rooms are simple but clean.
I recommend not to use heavy blankets, because usually hotels not washing them so often as normal blankets.

Food is very good, sweets are awesome and home made.

We definitelly come back again next year.

I got back yesterday from Cretan gardens. There were 2 negatives. One was the shower was not powerful and one of the cleaners put the shower head down which I did not like and also the beds were not comptorbale. Tony at the bar was excellent and wore 2 socks over his ears. Whenever one of my favourite songs came on he turned it up louder.

Room Tip: Ask for a room opposite the pool.
