Visited staffield hall with family. We stayed in Manor Hall a 3 Bedroom apartment on the ground floor. On arrival was really impressed with the location lovely rolling countryside all around. The apartment was excellent. We had so much room 3 double bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. The lounge and dining room were spacious and with an elderly mother and a disabled husband everything on the one level was ideal. The views from all the windows were great but especially from the lounge. Everything was very clean and of a very good standard. I would highly recommend.

Tremendous views from Manor Hall, what must it have been like in the old days? The Hall sitting with its extensive park land. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking your break at Staffield Hall.

Wow, I can't rave about this place enough, it is absolutely beautiful, the write up on the website certainly wasn't exaggerating, we stayed in Butlers Loft for 4 nights, there was a welcome tray with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk in the fridge and a lovely box of Maltesers waiting for us. There is nothing that's been forgotten here at all, it's like being at home, there was everything you could ever want, everything was of a high standard too. It was so peaceful that it felt like we were the only people staying there. It's a good base for getting to plenty of places, there are loads of leaflets on the landing for places to visit. As you walk in there are DVDs, books and games to borrow if you require them. I have probably forgotten loads of other things to mention but all in all I would recommend Staffield Hall.

What a beautiful building in such a wonderful landscape.

Apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival, and after a 4 hour drive from Northampton the coffee sachets and milk in the fridge were extremely appreciated.

This holiday was a birthday retreat for my wife and as we are a young family, a self catering holiday is a safe bet. We like a not of luxury so, decided on Staffield Hall.

And my word we were not disappointed. The building itself if beautiful Victorian stone built hall. The entrance is grand and leads to the great hall where you are greated by a grand stair case and the service bells lined up neatly on the wall.

Up the stairs and to the right is the lady tower, our home for the week. A small but we'll equipped kitchen. A we'll laid out front room. And a lush double bed in the bedroom. The bathroom has a spar bath witch was we'll needed after some long walks around the lakes.

Would definitely recommend and shall return.

Set in the middle of nowhere, this beautiful property allows you to escape away from reality.
Easy to find, the property allows you to park outside. Access codes allow entry.
We stayed here on the way up to Scotland from London to break up the journey to pick up our daughter at Uni.
Staffield Hall is beautiful, an impressive stairway leads to gorgeous rooms.
The room we stayed in ( Heaven something), was spacious, one double bed in the living room, looking out over the gardens & the rolling sheep fields beyond, a separate bedroom with what must have been a queen sized bed, huge!
The place was immaculate, a real home from home, decorated with lovely paintings & ornaments.
It had a well equipped kitchen, milk, tea & biscuits allowed a well needed cuppa on arrival.
The bathroom was lovely with both a shower & bath with jacuzzi style jet streams. Soap, toilet rolls & towels were provided, plus a small body wash & body lotion.
We didn't find any shops nearby, apart from a tiny one in Kirkoswald, where we purchased milk. So if you are planning on cooking, take some provisions.
Kirkoswald is about 5/10 minutes down the road. There are some lovely walks to go on. We ate in both the pubs, the Crown & the Fetherston Arms. The food was incredible in both, well worth a visit.
Staffield Hall is a wonderful place to stay, it's so quiet & comfortable. The only tiny downside is the wi fi, which is very slow, but you are in the middle of nowhere, so to be expected.

Yes, Heavenfield is such a lovely apartment so very pleased you enjoyed staying there and also your praise for the area. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Faster Wi Fi is soon to be with us we are told, a community driven project is underway and when established with rival that our towns and cities. The little Village shop in Kirkoswald had closed a few years back but community now help run this with volunteers and its become a thriving hub. Thanks for staying with us.
