Called for a beer but the food and menu looked good. Will call back. The pub is clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant.

We dropped in on a Sunday and were quickly shown to a table. Good varied menu
Restaurant was very full with parties thoroughly enjoying themselves - we were still served in a timely manner by enthusiastic staff.

Good choccy pud and nice fish chowder. Nice IPA. Also had a potato hash which was nice. Didn't like the Welsh rarebit on toast that much but that's only because we didn't know what it was before we ordered it. Would return, if ever in the but end of nowhere again.

This is not our first visit. Our previous visits have been just for two people. This time we had a family meal for seven. The menu was a bit more restrictive than I remembered it, but quality and service were excellent. I cannot seriously fault it. My wife's requirements for gluten-free food were understood and met.
