Arrived at a campsite nearby and fancied not cooking.
Booked ok and arrived as planned.
Has Greek influenced menu and a child menu with simple choices for my fussy kids.
Me and hubby had a Cypriot platter to share. Wowsers it was fab. Everything was obviously home made including all the dips. Plenty of it and we were stuffed. (And we are complete oinkers! ) our friends all loved their choices , son liked his burger which was also homemade. We were full but the baklava was calling me... so like a true pig I ordered it (with the added extra of the yogurt, nuts and honey) and that was yummy too.
Hubby had to roll me back to the caravan after that. It's a shame it's not nearer our home otherwise I would definitely return.
I'm going to email the chef to ask for some recipes as it was so nice.
So definitely give this place a visit.

A nice country pub with a very friendly landlord and attentive staff Food was another matter the lamb shank looked anaemic and was swimming in a yellowish puddle of "sauce"which had the consistency of water. The pork schnitzel was coated in a limp breadcrumb coating and the chargeable additional mushroom sauce consisted of chopped mushrooms - no sauce. The 6 large shell on king prawns were very nice but with nothing to wipe ones fingers with until we could catch a passing waitress who brought wipes. The baklava listed on the sweet menu was awful and consisted of four dried out pieces about one inch long and half an inch in diameter all in all a disappointing meal.
it was a real shame as the landlord was really nice and obviously trying hard to gain a good reputation - keep the staff sack the chef

Sounds a strange combination but it seems to work. Nice pub with friendly staff and nice beers to choose from. The good menu still has some traditional favourite but it specialises in Greek favourites, so if you fancy Greek Meze in a country pub, this is your place

Stopped off there for some food and it was great. It is home from home and the staff there are really nice and friendly and also professional. Would recommend to anyone. Even fit there new washing machine as they got a new one so I got a pint out of it. Cheers mate

Very friendly welcome by the landlord. Good service and excellent food. We had the Cyprus platter for two which was really tasty. Would definitely recommend this pub as overall a very pleasant evening.
