Quite enjoyed my 2 week stay plenty of restaurants in the area. Stayed in the annex the rooms are more modern nice and quiet. Fairly standard premier inn stuff but I will say possibly the nicest staff I've met at a premier inn

Premier Inn are my hotel of choice for convenience and cost.

This one was perfectly located for my requirements. Very easy to get to, loads of parking, superb Reception staff, clean and welcoming room, temperature control that worked straightaway, quiet and peaceful at night, great sleep in a comfortable bed with extra pillows in the room if you wanted them. Nothing could have been better.

I have already booked again for another stay later in the month.

From the very first minute the service was wonderful; at the reception Julija, Alex and Istvan greeted us with worm smiles and explained everything in great detail. We were even saved when the different socket realisation downed on us, when we needed transport for a late flight and were treated nicely even when checking out for the said flight at almost two in the morning. The room was nice and cosy, bed comfortable and the bathroom splendid. Moreover, the Inn itself is situated in quite nice area. The neighbourhood was calm and quiet even in the dead of night. There are at least two grocery stores nearby and a large shopping centre around 15 minutes away on foot. Chafford Hundred train station can be reached in about 8 minutes.

I had a one night weekend stay in a twin bedded room (which is a double and a single bed) in this hotel. It is approx. 8 minutes’ walk from Chafford Hundred train station. Check in was easy and friendly – the Reception staff were happy to help with advice regarding taxis, assisting me with a booking for an event I was attending. The room was clean, tidy and plainly decorated – the bathroom was a good size and the shower was good. Sleep quality was excellent, even though the hotel was busy. There is no restaurant on site but there is a Brewers Fayre next door that provides a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is buffet style and filling, and reasonably priced. Lakeside Shopping Centre is about 20 minutes’ walk away – you need to return to Chafford Hundred train station, and take the pedestrian walkway to the mall. For convenience items there is a Tesco Metro just outside Chafford Hundred train station, and also a branch of Sainsbury's situated across the other side of the roundabout next to the hotel. There is a small car park beside the hotel and the ground floor is fully accessible to those with mobility issues or families with prams.

Room Tip: Get a room on the ground floor towards the end of the corridor, it’s quieter.

We have stayed in a lot of Premier Inns and they all usually without exception are very good.
Thurrock East however is an especially nice place to stay as they go the extra mile.
Beautifully clean and functional rooms yes but it’s the staff that make the place.
A special mention should go to Vicky in Reception who is excellent.
We arrived off a 12 hour flight - exhausted and hoping there might be a small chance we could get our room slightly earlier than the stated time. This proved no problem at all and we were able to get a few hours of much needed rest.
Would definitely recommend and we will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area
