We have been here a few times, it is small and compact so if you do not book a table it can be difficult to get a seat but worth trying after shopping in Fareham when you want a good coffee and slice of cake (although the meals do look good).
I think it would be difficult if you needed wheelchair access to get round.
It is a little more expensive than some coffee places but each cake I have had has been yummy

Good afternoon Tracy,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we completely agree with booking in advance.

We have tried to maximise our space and if there was a wheelchair customer we would make them more than accommodated.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Kind regards,
Cackleberrys

We were first in and had to wait for the coffee machine to warm up. The place is charming, potted herbs, a pastry display, a "bar" and really friendly staff and owner.

The food and coffee was ridiculously delicious!! All the food is home made using great local ingredients.

James Martin would love this, I had the breakfast stack, sausage, egg, bacon and mushrooms, in 3 slices of granary bread toast, soaked in the most amazing butter I have ever tasted and topped with confit baby tomatoes. A breathtaking take on our full English. Well done.

I will never get board going into this brasserie as there's always a great variety to choose from and if you like fish then the poached salmon and broccoli pie is yummy yum yum. Thank you Terri and the team. ♥️

.. then you cannot go wrong with a visit here ... We visited for lunch today and from the extensive lunch menu decided on a sandwich each .. The bread was home made as is everything here. I had the boiled Ham my Husband the Roast Chicken, both were equally delicious and came with a lovely little salad .. As we were leaving we checked out there array of homemade savory pies, flans and cakes to give us an idea for next time .. yes we will return ..
