Stopped for two night from buy a gift. Did not like this hotel at all.
Staff friendly and helpful so no issues there.
The hotel itself is very dated to the point of having a retirement home about it. The old smell of the place only reinforced that view.
Room was nice but has no air con so even with a fan in the room was very stuffy making it difficult to sleep.
The breakfast was bland, sausages were poor and the bacon tough and flavourless.
Hotel may suit most people but not for me. Won't be staying again.

Fantastic stay at the Lismoyne for our wedding anniversary (we got married there 10 years ago). Was so wonderful to be back and had a fantastic stay. We stayed in the jacuzzi room and it was fab! Fantastic covid measures in place, the whole hotel was clean and tidy. Friendly attentive staff. We had an evening meal included with our stay; the food was fantastic, beautifully presented and tasted yummy! Breakfast was room service due to covid measures, but this was actually a real treat to have breakfast in the room. Breakfast service was running a little late due to the kitchen being busy but this didn’t affect our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend a stay at the lismoyne hotel!

We booked a very last minute night away here and after reading the reviews, wasn't really sure what to expect so was keeping an open mind!
On arrival, the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and we then headed to our room.
We had an executive room, ok so maybe it was a little dated furniture wise, but it was big and comfortable with a huge bed and it over looked the gardens so no faults here!
We then ventured to the bar where we pretty much remained for the rest of the evening!! Half price cocktails convinced us to work our way through the menu, with the added help of the bar staff!
Our room rate included a 2 course meal (anything from the main menu) which we ate in the conservatory, food was lovely and generous portions.
Breakfast was ordered the night before and was served in our room, again portion sizes big and everything tasty that we had and brought at the time we asked.
Have to say, the staff at this hotel are amazing, young, energetic and good fun - a real credit to this hotel.
I'm glad we didn't listen to the reviews as we had a great night in a great hotel and will be returning one day! x

Recently came to the Lismoyne Hotel for afternoon tea. We got to sit in the conservatory which was lovely. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend! We’ll definitely be visiting again!
