Visited at 12.00am. On a Saturday lunchtime - and so were first in.

Staff very friendly and welcoming and as the noodle broth was described as "hearty" we asked if we could share a bowl of chicken, Udon noodles and vegetables. We also had a pot of China tea and ordered some Vietnamese spring roles and War Dip. We were asked if we wanted the War Dip steamed or fried and we chose fried - as we have them at our favourite Chinese restaurant in Manchester.

The broth was excellent with plenty of sliced chicken and a fresh light flavour with some fresh coriander giving it an authentic taste.

Sadly the War Dip were steamed - not as requested - and the Vietnamese spring rolls never arrived !

I will visit again as this restaurant deserves another chance, however, it will have to get it right as the Dim-Sum prices are similar if not more expensive than Manchester and soup, starters and a main with a sweet will end up pricy !

By the time we had finished a table for 6 (Far East Asians) were seated and two more couples.

I want this place to work !

There is a lunchtime combo price for students and I think this could work for all - maybe £9.95 for 2/3 courses between 12 and 2 - also giving staff a chance to operate under pressure and get orders right !

Our second visit to the restaurant and whilst trip No. 1 didn't amaze, it did enough to warrant a return.

First time round we dined in an empty restaurant, enjoyed decent food and prompt service. Tonight, a large booking and a few other tables made it a much busier place and the food and service both suffered because of it

Food not good enough to justify price and long wait. The large booking perhaps had an impact on the experience but I don't feel we should suffer because of this. We desperately want this place to be good but it might be a while before we return.

Had another great meal here. The place was full and the staff were run off their feet. But they were still very pleasant and dealt with everyone efficiently and nicely kept the place running really well. Food was great again.

Not wanting to go into Manchester and having deposited the children at their grandparents we decided to look local for a Chinese. What a little gem. An extensive menu they have not but they don't need it. Fresh and well seasoned. I would say very authentic. Not laden with salt and monosodium glutamate and no fuzzy head in the morning. A very pleasant experience and the best salt and pepper squid we've had, the squid was like butter and if you know about cooking squid this is no easy feat!

The menu is a little bit Asian Fusion but that's not a bad thing. Great execution.

Could see it being swamped on very busy nights.

Will definitely return for more delicious food!
