This hotel is definitely at the budget end of the market, and I'm afraid it shows. The place needs a little love and money thrown at it to bring it up to date.
Although the public areas are quite pleasant and the staff friendly the big letdown was my (single) room: absolutely tiny without a proper chair to sit on and nowhere to put my stuff. The 'wardrobe' looked more like an old filing cabinet and the only light was the ceiling one - there was no room for a bedside table lamp...there was no room for a bedside table!
The shower room and toilet were modern, ok and reasonably clean, but didn't even have a drinking glass. The room did have tea & coffee with a kettle provided, also a reasonable telly.
When I was there there was no problem with parking next to the hotel. Which I won't be doing again, because I'll be spending a little more on a room you can swing a cat in.More
