Ate here 2 nights whilst staying.

Pre dinner drinks in the bar were enjoyable . It is a lovely bright and open space with very personable and good humoured staff.

Service at dinner was a bit disjointed and slow on the 1st night as there was a large crowd in and it appeared as if they were a bit understaffed. The 2nd night the service couldn't be faulted.

The food ranged from good to excellent. Wine list is superb.

Prices are to be expected in line with a destination restaurant in the Cotswolds frequented by London visitors.

Will return

Overall a great evening. Obviously not cheap but quality of food reflects the prices and certainly didn't disappoint.
Staff attentive friendly but not over bearing.
Trendy wooden board for steak too small.
Toilets a total mess and don't reflect the standard that they should in such a restaurant.
But.. these should be easily sorted and overall it was an enjoyable treat.

We have had a lovely evening, sat in the very friendly bar having pre dinner drinks, then had a wonderful dinner. We stayed in The Boar room and it was lovely.

Food was very nicely presented and certainly a different experience to many restaurants with every dish having a lot of elements. Personally we found some aspects a bit too fussy and we both felt a couple of elements were not perfect - lamb was a little fatty to be cooked pink; starter mackerel a little too raw. Overall we enjoyed the food and wine. Expensive for what we considered to be good not the best meal/service/ambience.

Stayed here with a group of 13 for three nights for a family Birthday in June . The service and food were perfect and what was so nice is that the staff were not in your face but as soon as you wanted something they were on hand with fabulous food and drinks and we never had to ask twice for anything which is unusual today.
The decor in the rooms is beautiful and the attention to detail is second to none for what is actually a pub.
The bar serves a great range of beers , spirits and of course the Chateau Loube wine is excellent straight from the owners vineyards.
We tried a couple of the local pubs but they were not in the same league as the Wild Rabbit. Well done to the staff and Management for creating such a lovely venue. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
