So I have to admit, I like more choice for a beer festival but this place is still fab! Popped in just after they opened & were still establishing themselves & finding their niche - they got it!! Fab little place - staff well informed & customer focused (rare these days ) Fab snax & choixe of beers. Haven't explored the 75 Gins yet - but there's still time
The guest stouts were amazeballs - so much flavour - worth the visit just for them.
Brilliant start to the Bank Holiday. Thanx guyz

Good service and decent food at reasonable prices in a nicely industrialised decor’d establishment. Regularly visit for Friday morning bacon sandwich and coffee. The pancakes with bacon, blueberries and maple syrup are well worth a try. Much needed log fire on these cold mornings

Really pleasant totally re-vamped premises which transforms from a delightful cafe in the morning to a bar later in day.Roaring fire, delightful day time menu including a variety of fillingsfor the famous Staffordshire Oatcakes.Friendly and efficient with a pleasant ambiance. One weird aspect is that the many bitters on offer don't have the traditional pump badges and the names are on a blackboard above the bar. However, will defo re visit.Eccleshall is a bit special and the Little George only adds to the towns qualities.

Very friendly welcome from the owner and staff.
Parking is available at the rear of the building.

The room was very nice and had all the basic needs.

Breakfast was either in your room or a few hot dishes when the place opens at 9am.
BEST in-room coffee! I hate the instant coffee which you receive at most places, this was coffee bag which gave a much nicer start to the day.

I was given orange juice, croissant (recommend taking this out of the fridge the night before as it was solid by the morning so couldn't eat it) and instant porridge.
As I was jet lagged, I had woken up at 4am and had most by the time it was 7am, so I went down for a bit extra when the place opened at 9am. )
I HIGHLY recommend the Staffordshire oatcakes with cheese and tomato.

The village is lovely to walk around with cute shops and a lovely art gallery, I was very much tempted to buy some paintings.

The bar are was fantastic and had near 100 different gins! I had one from recommendation, and it was lovely!
