My Stepdaughter chose this hotel as the venue for her wedding , reception , and many guests stayed overnight. She was delighted with the assistance and hospitality extended to her and the guests , before and during the wedding. Everything verged on perfect . The only two criticisms, I could personally make were 1) some parts of the building are tired , but there are clear signs of investment in renewal and improvement currently being undertaken , and 2) the bar prices were high , by any standard . One plus point I have to make is the quality of the sausages served at breakfast !!

Room Tip: Ask for a premium room , with a front facing view.

Close to the centre of Farnham, easy to find. Away from the main road, set in lovely grounds and looks very nice from the outside. Parking directly outside or in adjacent overflow car park.
Inside the hotel was unfortunately not so impressive and is in need of an update. Tatty carpet & decor looked generally tired, which is a shame because this could be a really lovely hotel. My room was at the top, reasonable size, but had sloping ceiling above the bed which I kept banging my head on when I sat up in bed, and I'm short! For the ladies, a proper hair drier that you didn't have to keep your finger on the button to keep it going, and you could sit at a dressing table with a mirror to use it!
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. I had a lovely evening meal there, reasonably priced and the best steak I've had in years! A good choice for breakfast, continental buffet as well as cooked options. I would have like to see some prepared fresh fruit rather that a basket of fruit items. Breakfast menu says 'cooked to order', and my poached egg was certainly freshly made, as was the toast. However the bacon was dry and hard and had obviously been cooked in advance of orders. Overall a good stay, I would like to have given it a higher rating because some things were very good, but other things really need to be improved. Hopefully they will do something about the tatty carpets and decor before long to improve the look of the interior and make this hotel into the stunning place it could be.

Room Tip: Room 24 had partial sloping ceiling, not great for sitting up in bed!

We had Afternoon Tea here for a belated Mothers day. The staff were incredibly friendly and catered to our needs. We had a young baby and they made sure he was kept happy.

Great value for money, could do with a veggie option but i imagine they would cater if asked

We stayed for a friends wedding which was at this hotel the grounds are beautiful room ok nothing special but price quite reasonable including breakfast which was nothing special either but the most disturbing point about this hotel is the bar it's very small and beware not very well equipped no beer or Bombay gin at the beginning
They did however manage to source some but to my horror when you order a gin & tonic they poured my tonic probably about a 1/3 of the bottle in my glass and kept the bottle under the bar maybe ready to re sell but I was sober so asked for it
Just a little tip the drinks were not cheap but apart from this our stay was very good with a wonderful wedding

Stayed over on Friday and Saturday night during a brief business trip. Yet again I had a lovely time with the room, food and staff all excellent!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like square box-like hotels.
Book up and enjoy!

Room Tip: Room 4 is brilliant
