Stayed here for Goodwood Festival of Speed for four days with my son. Beautiful location, friendly staff (Kevin the manager is a lovely guy with great customer service skills and made my son and I very welcome). Beautiful grounds with tennis court and croquet. It is an old Victorian house and so the rooms were warm at night but you just need to have the windows open (can't believe people on Trip Advisor moaning about lack of air conditioning given how old the property is). Evening meals are excellent value and it is good traditional food (fish and chips, triple sausages with mash and onion gravy, honey roast ham with eggs and chips, etc) which was presented very well and good portion sizes. Will definitely be staying here again when we next go to Goodwood.

A beautiful peaceful old Victorian country home and a very popular wedding venue due to its beautiful landscaping and extensive lawns. There is ample free parking around the hotel.

There is a wide range of rooms that are well appointed and clean, with good tea and coffee facilities and a trouser press.

The wifi is good and extends into the garden- ideal for catching up on emails outside at the end of the day whilst listening to the evening birdsong.

Staff are friendly and will make sure you are well looked after.

There is a really good selection of different breakfasts including gluten free options. Everything from continental to fried breakfasts... and pan fried brioche with fresh fruit or a stack of waffles and maple syrup!

Farnham town is less than a 10 minute drive away.

We paid £128 for bed & breakfast which i was initially fine with as the website shows a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately it's not quite as good as it suggests. The furniture in the room was worn out & the bed itself was incredibly uncomfortable. The breakfast was pretty poor to, for a small hotel I would expect it to be to order & my mother in law who is vegetarian did not have a lot to choose from where the hot food is concerned...the scramble egg was clearly micro waved & tasteless!! A real shame as the location & grounds were lovely.

I stayed here while working in the area , based on the reviews i had seen .. the location and grounds of the hotel are lovely .

I was disappointed with the starter was not great and looked like it had been just chucked around and the main was a curry which was again not brilliant .

The room was fine , but just poor bits empty toilet roll left on the seat and also no duvet cover ... was that disappointed with the evening food i didn't go down for breakfast.

Certainly wont be staying here again..

Popped in for lunch after seeing road side sign. Fabulous hotel set in its own gardens accessible at end of windy track. Had carvery which was great value and the beef was to die for. It's always a good sign when a chef can serve it rare and it just melts in your mouth. Mmm. Loads of different veg including my fave cauliflower cheese. Only negative was not quite sure about the piped music which was very sophisticated a bit like the hotel but just a bit too loud for my liking.
