Breakfast selection on the hot side was good and even better they cook your eggs to order

Except who ever cooked our scrambled eggs doesn't know the difference between cooked soft and cooked hard and the waitress that served us gave me the the pretend soft eggs and my wife the hard eggs except both were hard which I left most of it as I like eggs cooked soft
Other than that the cold selection was missing smoked salmon and at least some ham as part of the continental usuals
The staff also could have explained how the set up works
Like you can have a real coffee
And eggs are cooked to order
Customers that are informed don't have to wonder around and look for service

Dinner
We both had Salmon and it was nicely cooked
The service was ok

Service was poor. Many dishes & wines not available. The room was cold. The food was overpriced and average quality.

Hi HanaM74

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are located in a regional remote part of Tasmania and as a result are limited to the frequency of food and beverage deliveries to three days a week. As a result of this our team are well versed to ensure we have our ordering spot on so that we don't run out of menu items.

I appreciate your feedback and I have shared your comments with the team.

I do look forward to welcoming you back to the Bay Restaurant in the not too distant future.

regards
Brad Coelho

We did not here as we found not much offered on the menu, nothing for vegetarians, and the prices were way out of our reach.. no everyday family would be able to afford this menu.

Dear dtc2435

Thank you for your review, if only we had the opportunity to speak with you on the day you visited The Bay Restaurant we would have been able to provide you with our vegetarian options and our dedicated kids menu.

It's the second time we've dined here and once again it didn't disappoint. Meals are cooked using local Tasmanian produce and served with wines from the East coast wineries.Prices are reasonable for fine dining and our food was very good. Scottsdale pork belly was melt in your mouth and my husband enjoyed his quail. Service was very friendly and not overbearing.
