Description: Welcome to Sarita, where we are slightly obsessed with serving good food among friends and family. Our focus is on healthy, new American cuisine - a celebration of all our backgrounds and roots. The best of the best eats if you will. Lighter dishes with natural reductions, a lot of vinaigrettes, less cream, less butter - but unbelievable flavors. This is what you can expect if you choose to dine with us. And we hope you will. The restaurant is owned by executive chef Romano and his best friend, Sandy Smith. The pair first met at Players 16 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. Their approach to Sarita is fairly simple: to create a space that's a reflection of their friendship...relaxing, fun and celebrate life in the company of friends and family with good food and a great cocktail in hand.

We had a reservation for a group of 6. The host was very nice, however our server was rude and the service terrible. We waited 1/2 hr for our drinks to be served. Then he was rude to my 73 yr old mother and telling her they couldn't substitute for her mashed potatoes. He later came back and said they could. It took 1 1/2hrs to get our food! The patio was crowded but the inside was empty, so not sure why the food took so long. The food was average and the corn bread was burned (black around the edges). I would definitely never go back and do not recommend.

Just picked it out as we were going to hear some music at The Winchester later so we tried it for dinner. The outdoor patio was inviting but a bit warm so we elected to stay inside where the a/c was too high. The rooms were appealing. The waiter agreed and turned it down. He was helpful in other ways too...we had a young Chinese woman in our party and he thoughtfully explained some of the terms in the menu to her, i.e. pomme frites being french fries. I had some oysters to start which were good but the abductor muscle was not severed and the waiter agreed and told the new shucker in the kitchen, We had a delicious barely grilled ahi tuna and a grilled pork tenderloin which was very tender and well prepared. A gazpacho was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. I asked if they any Amari for a drink and the bar sent over a taste of a cardomaro liqueur which hit the spot on ice with soda. The menu was interesting, fairly priced. Service was good too.
I'm glad we chose the spot and I'd return.

We had the pleasure of dining here on a weekend evening at 9 pm. We had a table out on their charming patio, and the ambiance, food, and service made for a terrific evening! Our server was accomplished and highly professional while being friendly; our meals were spot on delicious! The wine list featured a great deal as well ... you get a $10 discount off a future meal for every bottle of wine you order over $40 in price! We loved our experience here (our second time since it changed owners), and look forward to coming back soon!

We ate there tonight for an early dinner after a matinee nearby. The place is beautifully decorated in black and white. There is a patio but we didn't sit there. The menu had many wonderful choices but we both settled on pasta dishes that turned out to be very very good. My husband is Italian and very particular about how the pasta is cooked. The house salad was wonderful and the service was superb. They have a long wine list and specialty mixed drinks as well. We will go again to try some of the other menu items that sounded interesting. Parking is right next to the restaurant.

Five neighbors for over 30 years...two of them turning 60. Where do we go to celebrate? Sarita. Without question, outstanding from start to finish. Chef Tony suggested the 5 course wine dinner and Corey served us excellently! Nut crusted Brie with berry compote, seared scallops with mango vinaigrette, baby boy choy and sautéed mushrooms, ancho rubbed pork tenderloin with corn tomato& bacon ragout, herb grilled beef tenderloin with caramelized onion risotto and OH MY the deserts! All paired with fabulous wines.....a memorable evening. Four of the five of us had never dined here before, but all will absolutely be back. You need to eat here....soon. Terrific patio, modern, comfortable indoor decor. It has it all.
