My wife and I spent two nights at Inn at Rainbow Hills and had a wonderful time. The Inn is located next to the Rainbow Hills winery and is constructed with material harvested from the property. The Inn is tastefully decorated with artwork collected from adventures taken around the world by Joy the proprietor. Our room had a comfortable queen size bed, a private bathroom, and a private balcony that overlooked the winery. The common areas have comfortable sofas and coffee tables where guests can congregate. The upper level common area has a loft feel and overlooks the lower area (my wife liked the little nook where she curled up and did some reading). The lower area has a high ceiling, a fireplace, several sofas and chairs, and a large round breakfast table. Our breakfast included French toast with cream cheese, a baked egg and sausage dish, and fresh coffee made with coffee beans roasted by a local coffee house. My wife commented that it was the best breakfast she had ever eaten. The winery next door has great tasting wine and we enjoyed the “Grill your own steak” event that the winery had put on that evening. This place is a hidden treasure!
