We visited the winery and learned of this gem of a B&B on the fall of 2012 and returned in July of 2013 to stay at the Inn. What a wonderful experience, so great we returned in November of 2014. Joy is just that, a joy. Very attentive and makes sure every detail is right. You can't go wrong here.

My wife and I spent two nights at Inn at Rainbow Hills and had a wonderful time. The Inn is located next to the Rainbow Hills winery and is constructed with material harvested from the property. The Inn is tastefully decorated with artwork collected from adventures taken around the world by Joy the proprietor. Our room had a comfortable queen size bed, a private bathroom, and a private balcony that overlooked the winery. The common areas have comfortable sofas and coffee tables where guests can congregate. The upper level common area has a loft feel and overlooks the lower area (my wife liked the little nook where she curled up and did some reading). The lower area has a high ceiling, a fireplace, several sofas and chairs, and a large round breakfast table. Our breakfast included French toast with cream cheese, a baked egg and sausage dish, and fresh coffee made with coffee beans roasted by a local coffee house. My wife commented that it was the best breakfast she had ever eaten. The winery next door has great tasting wine and we enjoyed the “Grill your own steak” event that the winery had put on that evening. This place is a hidden treasure!

Once a year we spend a great weekend enjoying fine wine and a great gourmet dinner and breakfast. Its a short drive from my location which makes it an easy day trip to the winery with friends. Joy will make the stay the most unfogetable time. Outside decks with many levels make a nice area to just set and enjoy one of the many wines they make. Don't forget to get a cheese and bread tray also.

The Inn at Rainbow Hills is a beautiful gem tucked into the quiet hills of Central Ohio. Built with exquisite taste from recycled and new materials from the area and decorated with an artist's eye it is a pleasure simply to relax and pass the time in and around the Inn. The grounds too are beautifully landscaped with a perfect balance between the natural and the tended. There is a pond and picnic tables and decks that are the perfect setting for eating, drinking or just relaxing. Indoors there is a living room with fireplace and separate sitting room with tv. Joy is a wonderful host and has really thought of everything you could ever want or need.

Room tip: All 4 room are lovely and quiet. The top room would have a bit more space. The ground floor room has no stairs to navigate. I particularly like the "red" room and the "white" room. They both have small balconies you can enjoy.

If you are looking for a unique quiet getaway this lovely inn and winery is for you. Nestled deep in the countryside this bed and breakfast and winery is filled with charm. Quaint rooms are built around an old log house. Beautiful art, great wine and a fabulous breakfast. We love it there.
