We dined at The Bridge on April 1st, 2017. We made our dining choice on a last minute notice. We telephoned en-route, to confirm seating availability and/or any need for reservations. The person who took our call was friendly, energetic and confirmed they could accommodate the two of us as late as 8:00pm.
They are located within the downtown region of Sidney, OH. It's a quaint and quiet town and the building frontage depicts a time of yesteryear. There is ample parking in the front of the building and within the adjacent streets.
We were greeted and seated in an expedient fashion. During this time, there was a organ soloist playing casual and contemporary songs in the background. There is a bar area, window seating available, tables and an area to accommodate larger groups. The décor is very tasteful, with dark colors, burgundy's with dark wood accents. It speaks of class and finer dining in this region.
Our order consisted of pecan-crusted chicken and sirloin as our main dish choices. Both were shared by us. Taste, consistency, temperature and quantity were well-above average. The meals were accompanied by salads which were equally fresh and plentiful , along with delightful bleu cheese dressing. I must point out one of the sides, brussel sprouts, cooked to perfection. The additional side dish was a typical baked potato with sour cream and butter. No concerns. Above average as well.
The Bridge has an extensive beer and wine menu to accommodate any taste, price or occasion. Our Server (Tony O) was well-mannered, accommodating and professional.
In short, I would highly recommend The Bridge when in the Shelby County or surrounding area. Great for couples, an evening out, a business dinner or a celebration of any sort.
