Our group of seven friends reserved all of the rooms in this gorgeous home for the weekend of our tenth reunion at the College of Wooster. It was an absolutely lovely weekend. Bill and Genevieve made us feel perfectly welcome and we feel as though we have made new friends while we were catching up with old ones. They have only owned the Gasche House for a few months, but the updates they have made are incredible. If you are looking for a place to stay in Wooster, look no further. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was outstanding, and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio admiring the pretty garden. We will return!

Room Tip: Having seen all of the rooms, you can't go wrong!

I have lived in Wooster for two years and every time my family comes to visit they stay at the Gasche house! They have never wanted to try a new place because of how amazing the Gasche house is and how great Bill and Genevieve are as owners! Bill and Genevieve recently bought the Gasche house and their excitement about this new adventure is contagious. They have done a great job with decorating and the breakfast is amazing. They are very friendly and willing to help in anyway. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Wooster. You will feel right at home and won't want to leave!

We just finished a three-night stay at the Gasche House, a Victorian gem on quiet Bever St., only ten minutes (on foot) from Wooster's downtown restaurant corridor. You can walk to the College of Wooster campus in 15 minutes, or drive there in two, so the location is very convenient for Wooster visits or the Ohio Light Opera (which is on the College of Wooster campus).

The house is more than 150 years old and on the National Historic Register. There are three bedrooms upstairs that share a single large bathroom. There is also a two-bedroom suite with private bath. Parking is off street and more than adequate. The house is quiet, except for the squeaky floorboards, which are to be expected in any building that old.

Marcia is a lovely, welcoming hostess and a good cook. She is more than generous with the breakfasts she serves.

Highly recommended!

Marcia is a charming landlady/hostess who made us feel right at home. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Outstanding breakfasts. Great location in historic district within walking distance to downtown Wooster, restaurants, antique shops, library, museums, and College of Wooster.

Room Tip: Not wheelchair accessible. Home is on National Registry of Historic Places. Three upstairs rooms share 1 large bathroom. Family room (sleeps 4) has its own bathroom.

I just spent the weekend at the Gasche House. Marsha, the innkeeper, is a lovely hostess, and the house is warm and charming. After the stress of air travel, it was a welcome relief. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nicely appointed...plenty of towels, great water pressure in the shower. Surprising in an old Victorian, especially given that it is well water. Nice breakfast, plenty of fluffy towels, on a nice, historic main street.

Room Tip: There are four rooms, including a two bedroom suite. The suite has a bathroom, the other rooms share a bath.
