I stayed for over a week and had so much fun. We remembered many fine meals at Headley Inn when we were kids in the 1950s and enjoyed exploring the garden, just as we did back then. We especially enjoyed rocking on the front porch.
Breakfast was amazing!

We have a group of friends who dine out monthly. The Headley Inn is a B and B located on the Old National Road. They also do special events. The owners have done a great job preserving the character of this 1833 property. Our meal was delicious and reasonably priced. The owners are very gracious and the service was outstanding. The Inn was tastefully decorated for the holidays. The room we dined in was accessible which was nice since all of our party are seniors. This was more like dinning in a friends home than being at a restaurant. Great experience!

We stayed at the Headley Inn on Wednesday, October 18th, on our way to Pennsylvania. We arrived late at night but Carrie and Brian waited up for us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We stayed in the Amelia Suite and were charmed by the slanted floor and decorated rooms. It was very old-timey and quaint. We ate breakfast the next morning with the couple staying out in the little cabin. Carrie is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed fresh fruit, scones, coffee, juice, bacon, eggs, etc. It was a feast! The other couple was from Wisconsin and they were very nice and friendly. We had a lovely time chatting with them at breakfast and discussing our vacation plans. After breakfast, Carrie gave us all a tour and we learned more about the inn. This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we didn't know what to expect. It was a really great experience and I can't say enough good things about the hosts and the inn. Thank you for your hospitality!

Room Tip: Amelia Suite has living room and two bedrooms--plenty of room to spread out.

I stayed one night at the Headley Inn. I have stayed at a couple of other B&Bs, and I wasn't overly impressed with the ambiance. For one thing, the inn is right next to U.S. 40, and you're going to be hearing traffic constantly. That didn't really bother me, but it might be annoying to some people.

Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this B&B because of the hospitality of the owners. They make you feel like family. When I arrived, there were freshly baked cookies, made just for me. In every way possible, the owners went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. They are truly nice people -- even their dogs are sweet!

What a beautiful place! I was really surprised by not only the history but the care the owners have taken to keep it beautiful and welcoming. The food was amazing and the family who runs it makes you feel like you wish your family would treat you when you visit (entertaining when you want them to be and gone when you want to be alone). If you stay make sure you try the peanut butter cookies!

Room Tip: Chestnut cabin has the most amazing bed!!
