We have visited many railroad museums. I got the feeling, talking to a number of volunteers, and reading the brochure about their planned expansion on land the now own, that this museum has the energy to grow and become a major railroad attraction. The volunteers seem confident and clear on their plans.
There is a good amount of old rolling stock to see now, HO model in a car, museum display car, various structures with a past. Most importantly, they have a 40 minute train ride pulled by an early '50's F9 diesel.. It runs twice a month first & middle Saturdays. Cars are air conditioned.
They soon plan to install a 100 foot turntable now on their property. Then a roundhouse to go with it. Go. It's good entertainment. Lots of kids on weekends.
