Owner description: Come spend an afternoon at the Oklahoma Railway Museum. There's something for everyone! Come see freight cars, passenger cars, and even a real steam engine on display. And best of all, you can ride the train! Trains operate first and third Saturdays - April to August. We're just minutes from the Interstate, so come join in the fun at the Oklahoma Railway Museum. Our museum is open every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 9:00 to 5:00. Admission to the museum is free.

This is another of Oklahoma's FREE museums. Hubby loves trains, so we made it a stop. Neat to be able to climb on and walk through several trains. One train is also full of models. Only issue I saw was a woman with a walker having difficulty maneuvering the terrain.

Thank you for your review! We are working to make the museum more accessible to those with mobility issues. The historic nature of our equipment presents challenges..

A huge tribute to the volunteers who make this place a huge success, some real good rolling stock to view and when the trains are running you can take a short trip.

We visited with our family ranging from a toddler to grandparents. We had great fun climbing on the trains, walking thru the cars and exploring ar our own pace. The passenger cars from the different decades were a walk thru time warp. The model train set up kept us entertained. There were so many incredible details.

My husband and adult son explored all the different engines. They loved comparing the horsepower and mechanical details to their trucks. Happy motor heads!

When the toddler needed turned loose there is a small playground for the kids. It is complete with benches and shade.

The staff of volunteers were knowledgeable, informative and very friendly.
This is mainly an outdoor museum - plan for the weather.
Great place to visit.

The train was very nice to ride along an old route.
AC cars or open air cars-you choose.
The conductor was full of the history of the trains and how the museum came into existence.
I would do this activity again.

We went yesterday and had a blast! There was a caboose or two, several cars to look at, a gift shop (of course) and I took many many pictures!
