We had been to La Baguette for brunch on several occasions and always enjoyed it, so we were excited to join a large group dinner in the private room.

From the service to the food, the La Baguette team delivered and made a memorable evening for 36+ of us! The private room is relatively flexible and served well for this surprise dinner.

Though I am not a big fan of steak tartare, it was fun to see the table-side version freshly made. The beef tenderloin was delicious and the veal chop, huge!

While I do consider this a great place for brunch, they did deliver a good dinner as well!

Went here with my husband on date night as we had read some reviews that made it sound worth trying. We had reservations and were promptly seated. However, we were told that they were out of menus so we would have to wait but our waitress said she would be happy to answer any questions. Well, that would be hard if we didn't have menus to look at. Finally one menu was brought. We saw a table of four leave and their menus were retrieved; the second would be brought soon. Or so we thought. We had to flag down the another waitress to ask for the now available menus. It's one thing if the restaurant was packed but it wasn't - 2/3 full at best generous estimate. How does a restaurant not have enough menus? But wait! That's not all. We look at the menus and in deciding what to have, my husband and I wanted different items that were not on each other's menus. Turns out they have more than one menu. Waitress comes around and we ask which items are available from which menu. So not only do they not have enough menus, they have different menus! Sigh.

We decide on the Country Pate with Toast to share and he also got a cup of French Onion Soup. For dinner, I ordered the Croque Madame and he the Veal Cheeks. Quite a while later our dinners were brought and we asked about the appetizers we have yet to receive. The waitress took back our dinners and appetizers were then brought. The pate was quite good and would be worth getting again. However, the soup was warm with barely enough cheese to be called a sprinkling. It should be piping burn your tongue hot with ooey gooey cheese hanging off the sides as a true french onion soup should be but call me picky.

Then our entrees came out looking very good with a generous two sunny side up eggs on my sandwich. Both tasted fair +. The taste wasn't the problem - it was the temperature. Both were barely warm. They brought our entrees before the appetizers, let our dinners get cold while we ate our appetizers, and then gave us the same entrees prepared 10-15 minutes earlier. What poor form.

We were disappointed. However, since the food actually tasted good given its temperature we are willing to give it another try and perhaps this review can be updated with a better rating.

We ate brunch here and immediately enjoyed the ambiance. Other than one party's food, what we ate was tasty. There was a problem with the food for one of our diners, one entrée that was supposed to be warm came out COLD, as if it had been taken from the refrigerator and the chef neglected to cook it. The waitress apologized and immediately took the food back to be heated. The remaining party was finished with their food before the returned entrée was brought back. We had somewhere to go. Then, the chef neglected to include the fruit accompaniment with the returned entree. We brought this to the attention of the manager who did not handle the situation well. Rather than handling the issue with the one entrée, the manager argued with us. We will not ever return - ever. We did give the waitress her appropriate tip as she did a good job and the issue was not her fault. Conversely, the manager needs customer service training. The issue was that the food should not have taken so long to be returned to our table and management should have recognized this. To add to our diner's poor experience, when she went to the restroom, she overheard the manager laughing about what had happened.

We had lunch on a Friday with 8 ladies. Our server was prompt and courteous and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious, from the sandwiches to the quiches, to the fries. The bakery area is also fun to walk around and look at all the yummies (and order some! Mmm!). Very pleased. We will be back!
