Our hotel clerk recommended the Town Pump for a bit of "local flavor" that was walking distance away. "There's all kinds of people", she said.
I'm glad I changed from khaki's to jeans before we went down to this bar but we still stuck out in this crowd. Everybody else had work boots or chains (or both). The place looks a bit rough but the bartender was super nice, the beer was ice cold and the patrons were friendly and kept the place entertaining (word of warning: there was some partial nudity and adult language)
On our way out, my colleague said "she was right, there was all kinds of people"
No there isn't, I said, there was two kinds of people... us, and all of them.
I had a good time and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
